My books and other writing

I started writing as a Senior Registrar in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital, now the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, in 1993. Although I no longer write textbooks - too much like hard work - I have considerable experience of editing and helping others to see their work in print. I do freelance editing for both Oxford University Press and Cambridge University Press.
I also write for the Bury and West Suffolk Magazine, a monthly periodical and lifestyle magazine, and I write a cricket column for our local newspaper, the Bury Free Press.
I am a member of the Society of Authors and I am also involved with the Best of Bury St Edmunds organisation, which exists to promote independent enterprise in the town I am proud to live in. Follow the links below to see more.
