INGREDIENTS Stewing steak 400g Olive oil Butter 50g Large red onion, sliced Large white onion, chopped Garlic bulb, chopped Button mushrooms Beef stock 400ml Tin tomatoes 800g Tomato puree 150g Plain flour Cayenne, teaspoon Paprika, 4 tablespoons
METHOD 1. Rub flour and seasoning into beef, fry for 20 minutes, add garlic and white onion, cook further 5 minutes. 2. Add cayenne and paprika, soak up juices, then add stock, tomatoes and puree to make a gloop. Return beef and add water to prevent it sticking, simmer 1 hour. 3. Add mushrooms and sliced red onion with 10 minutes to go, serve with natural yoghurt.
